Why I adore Charles "Chuck" Bass ...

I adore Gossip Girl. Which airs sundays at 7 o'clock. Chuck Bass?!! He has a flamboyant fashion sense, is a dangerous lothario, manipulative and always seeks vengeance - who is he, if not inspired by Oscar Wilde's hedonistic (hedonism is a school of philosophy which argues that pleasure has an ultimate importance and is the most important pursuit of humanity) Dorian Gray and Lord Henry Wotton?!!*

Only litterature hold answers, Oscar Wilde, Evelyn Waugh, P G Wodehouse best match my decadent state of mind. How I admire these men and the litteratue they have produced.

* My all time heroe in fiction is Lord Henry Wotton. He a famous wit with a brilliant intellect. Given the seductive way in which he leads conversation, it is little wonder that I fall under his spell so completely. He is always cooly composed and unshakable. Although he is a self-proclaimed hedonist, who advocates the equal pursuit of both moral and immoral experience, he does lives a rather staid life himself and participates in polite London society, attends parties and the theater, but does not indulge in any sordid behavior.
